This was my first blog ever! Well I'm not used to write blogs but I wanna try something new and share what have I done lately and what I will be doing in the future, but first I want to share with you my Christmas and New Year's experience with my family and friends.
Our family traditionally completes the "Simbang Gabi" and this was the first time that I didn't complete it for some important reasons, but despite of that I do try my best to attend the remaining days before the 24th. My family and I together with my boyfriend's family went to the Christmas Eve Mass, it was so amazing because I get to spend Christmas Eve with my two families. Right after the mass we went home and ate our Noche Buena, I'm happy that finally we were complete during that time.
It's Jesus' Birthday (25th)! And my god children came and visited me and my relatives as well. As I looked into the faces of my cousins, I saw big smiles with the gifts they received and seems like they were wishing that, that day wouldn't end. Then on the 26th the following day we went to my gradma's house and had a small get together party with my relative on my father's side.
A week from that day and it's finally 2011, we spend it in again in a traditional way, we gather together and wait for the New Year, we really ate the food as if theres no tomorrow and watched fireworks display it was a good start of the year with your families and friends, I do hope that we would have a joyful and blessed new year.
